Vacasa Port Aransas

All the children and baby gear amenities sold us and did not disappoint! High chair, baby gate, pack N play (with a mattress), plus plenty of children’s plates, bowls, silverware, plus a suction placemat, made it SO nice to not have to pack a ton of kid stuff. We just brought a crib sheet for a pack n play, which I recommend doing. The home also included 4 beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and 6 beach towels. Plus the kitchen and entire home was fully stocked! Shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc., and everything you can imagine in the kitchen! We didn’t have time to use the ice cream maker but just a heads up it’s Cuisinart brand in case you want to look up compatible recipes and ingredients for it. There’s also an instapot and a Ninja air fryer/toaster appliance. We grilled one night and had everything we needed. Very easy to wheel the grill out from the garage. The house itself was gorgeous and so functional and comfortable. It was very clean and had more than what we needed for our family. I’ve stayed at various rental homes throughout the years and this was by far the best experience we’ve had. Everything was thought of!! My only complaint is not about the house but Palmilla Beach Resort - the pools don’t allow any outside food or drink, including water..! They have employees who “welcome” you and ask you if you have any food/drink. We had to even push back to have snacks for our baby and toddler. I understand no outside alcohol but no water? And even poolside snacks? What irked us more is that this isn’t communicated anywhere by Palmilla - not their website, or even Guest Services when we checked in and got pool wrist bands. So we learned the hard way with our baby and toddler in hand as we walked up to the pool. This alone makes me hesitant to ever return here. I dislike forcing vacationers to pay really high prices for mediocre food when we already have to stock our kitchen for the beach and other meals… and better yet not communicating about it at all. So I recommend the home but be aware of Palmilla’s stringent rules.
