Recent Lost Colony - Port Aransas, TX guest reviews

There are very few places right on the beach on Mustang Island. At this home, you can sit on either deck and just soak in the Gulf and the beach. The properties in this section of the neighborhood were built decades ago which is why this home is even on the beach. It is dated because of age and well maintained. The Vacasa staff ensured any requests were immediatley taken care of, Heather was great! The owner has even thoughfully included items for the beach! The home was clean, plenty of hot water and good water pressure, lots of cookware and dinnerware, plenty of room for a family. We would rent this place again if we are lucky enough to be going to Mustang Island when it is available.

Loved the location and that it was dog friendly. Enjoyed an early Christmas celebration. Plenty of room for all and kitchen was well equipped for meals.

Suited my family’s needs fine (lots of bedrooms, good WiFi, nice beach access). The property could use a bit of maintenance - the windows are in desperate need of cleaning so you can actually enjoy a beach view and there’s some wear and tear typical with a beach rental. All around a pleasant experience. Would recommend updating the amenities available on the property on the website to be consistent with what is actually available.
