The house is beautiful, very clean, with a location facing the golf course. You can breathe tranquility, and there is good communication. I loved seeing so many deer, and it was wonderful to see that all the neighbors feed them. The house is beautiful, very clean, with a location facing the golf course. I loved the experience that I had at this property. The atmosphere of the community, the house, & location all in itself is very peaceful & relaxing, whether solo, with family, or friends/a group of people to have fun with. I highly recommend!

The house gets 4 stars. Customer service when there are issues leave something to be desired. Our stay for the most part was good. House was well equipped with everything that we needed . It is modern and nice sized in a beautiful community. We did have a couple of significant issues. We checked in on Saturday. On our 2nd night (Sunday) at about 10:30pm the septic tank siren for the property next-door which is right outside our son’s bedroom window went off. There was no one to call and no one to help get it turned off. Reached out to Vacasa customer service and we were told that because it was not one of their properties, They couldn’t do anything about it and there’s no one that they could direct us to for assistance . We stayed in his house while waiting to move into our home so my son had school the next morning. It was horrible because we were up all night because of the siren. We asked Vacasa customer service to open a support ticket with the local office to see if they could be anything to give us some kind of credit or concession for that issue and we were told that because it wasn’t their property there’s nothing that they could do and they were sorry for the inconvenience. Second issue that we had was the bugs in the third bedroom upstairs. The third bathroom and bedroom were upstairs and we discovered that there was a host of bugs in the bed on the headboard and in the bathroom they looked like some kind of tick or some other Texas bug we didn’t recognize. Fortunately the bugs were isolated to that area. Unfortunately, we could not use that area bed, bath or tv because of the bugs. We reached out to Vacasa local office to see if there was any kind of credit or concession that could be made for the issues that we had and didn’t receive any resolution. Considering that we paid $1800 to stay at this home that was disappointing.

Where are our Lake Travis vacation rentals and condos?

Lake Travis is really a dammed portion of the Colorado River, so there’s a lot of variety along its long and winding banks. There’s plenty of lake life to enjoy inside Austin’s city limits, including restaurants like the iconic, multi-story Oasis. A quick drive out of town, you’ll find the laid-back vacation and retirement community of Marble Falls. Spicewood is a great lake destination, too, situated in between the city and Marble Falls.

If you’re looking for luxury, Lakeway is the place to be. Our Lakeway vacation rentals offer a chic retreat within easy reach of the water. Lago Vista is another great option on the northern side of the lake. Our homes in Leander are ideal for those who want to stay within easy driving distance of Lake Travis, but still want quick access to the highway into downtown Austin.

Things to do around Lake Travis

If you’re staying in a Lake Travis vacation rental, odds are you’re a fan of lake activities. With its wide bends, mild water, and hot sunshine, Lake Travis is the perfect place for taking the boat out, dropping an anchor, and swimming. Water sports are huge here, so it’s a great chance for you to try your hand at wakeboarding, water skiing, or jet skiing---and don’t worry, the water’s not too cold if you happen to fall. Sailboats come out in full force during the cooler months: temperatures in the 50s may not be ideal for swimming, but they’re still lovely for sailing. Try one of the area’s homey diners---there are plenty to choose from on both sides of the lake.

Book one of our beautiful Lake Travis vacation rentals and find out what makes this little corner of Texas so perfect!
