Recent Klem Residence guest reviews

We arrived after 6 pm local time and the property manager was off for the day. Getting into the unit was seamless as all instructions were made very clear. However, we had no water in the unit. I messaged the property manager and got his auto-reply that he was off for the day and was given an alternate contact. The alternate was off that day. So no response. Started reaching out to Vicasa directly through messages but they were unable to assist. We had no water until they sent a maintenance person the around 10 am the next day - no toilets, no sinks, no shower. We also never got the remote for the parking garage. Finally, there were no controls available for the bedroom ceiling fan. The condo was clean and well-stocked. The bed was hard - but I ended up sleeping well in it. The location was perfect - short walk to Avenida Cinca and the beach. The rooftop pool was great. The only other issue I will say is that the motion lights in the common areas don't stay on long enough. They would go off while I was trying to enter the room and when going down the stairs (though I could have used the elevator). I would stay here again, but they really need to have a local contact available for people arriving outside of regular work hours.

The apartment is in a great central location while not being too noisy. It's a 3 minute walk to lots of great restaurants and a 5 minute walk to more touristy downtown area. The apartment itself was a comfortable stay.

The location of the unit is one block from the Quinta Avenida (5th avenue) where majority of the shops/bars/restaurants are located. It is about a 20 minute walk to the center pier in Playa Del Carmen where ferries dock for Cozumel. Would revisit when the wifi signal improves in all the rooms.
