place is very clean, had issue with one AC unit , they were here within minutes of report and reset breaker....COLD AC! Ambar came by and checked on us to make sure all was ok. we were stranded by Sara, airports were closed , comped us on the extra day! we will be back!

Pros: The Villa was great! 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, private laundry, great back deck overlooking the lagoon, very clean, full kitchen. This little gem is off of the main road, so it is in a quiet location. You can walk to the pool or the Farmer's Market across the street. If you don't really want to go to town to grab a bite to eat or have a cocktail, take the golf cart further up the road past the Villa to Lina Point. Lina Point is on the property, so it is another hidden gem. Cons: The only thing I did not care for was the iguanas overtook the back deck during the day, so the only time we could hang out on it was at night.

Situated about a mile north of central San Pedro, Mara Laguna is very easily accessible. Fly into San Pedro Airport and take a one-and-a-half mile drive north on Laguna Drive to reach the resort, or fly into Belize City 36 miles southwest and get on a water taxi or motorboat ferry to access Ambergris Caye--a trip which usually takes about 75 minutes.
