Spent a very comfortable two nights at this condo in late March. Beds and living room furniture seemed relatively new and the three of us slept well, lulled by the sound of the surf. We were very pleased with communications with the management company Vacasa. While there was an issue with one of the lighting fixtures, it didn't negatively affect our stay. In short, we would gladly stay there again.

Checking in and out were easy processes. The unit was clean and had comfortable beds and couch, plenty of pots, pans, dishes, utensils, etc. The large windows in the living room give an extraordinary view of the pool and ocean, as well as offering the unit lots of natural lighting. Unfortunately, when we arrived there was jackhammering being done on the pool, which was currently undergoing major maintenance, making the pool unusable for our stay, as well as causing a major noise disruption at sporadic times during our stay. I have 2 young kids who nap, so this was a big problem for us. Vacasa did not notify us about the pool being out of service nor warning about loud construction work. Additionally, when I called Vacasa to address this, the representative, although kind and professional, told me that the pool is closed during the time of year we were staying anyways- this information was not included in any of the property listings or communications we'd received from Vacasa. After noting the problem, the representative told me they would contact their agents located in the area and call me back- they did not, and I had to call and pursue the matter again myself. Thankfully they did offer to refund a small amount of our costs. I often disregard reviews that complain about building maintenance because that is usually a necessary and temporary inconvenience; I post this to warn future travelers to confirm in advance with owner/managers that they will not incur such significant disruptions to trips which are costly and you want to fulfill expectations (I consider having a pool for my kids to swim in a significant expectation at a beach condo advertising an available pool). I would stay in this unit again, but I am unlikely to trust Vacasa again considering this major omission.
