Fantastic overall experience. Well designed space full of comfortable amenities and perfect location within Eagle Springs East and Solitude Village. Would love to stay here again.

This is a wonderful place to stay for skiing with friends or family in the Salt Lake area. Skied at 3 areas: Alta, Solititude and Deer Valley. Short drive (20-30 mins) to Alta and Solitude, and only about 40 minutes to Deer Valley. Used the very clean hot tub each day. Beds are comfortable and linens are soft. Excellent towels and and ample supply. Kitchen is very well equipped. We cooked in the condo every evening. Highly recommend and we will try to stay there again next time we are in Utah!

About our Solitude Ski Resort lodging

Just 30 miles from stunning Salt Lake City, this ski resort, aptly named Solitude, is known among locals for having fewer crowds (and shorter lines) than other popular resorts that are just a bit closer to the city. Still only 40 miles from the Salt Lake International Airport, Solitude offers an Alpine-inspired pedestrian village and amazing terrain that includes 77 trails, three bowls, and jaw-dropping views that make Big Cottonwood Canyon a picture-perfect ski destination.

Winter fun at Solitude Ski Resort

There's plenty for beginners and experienced skiers alike to enjoy at Solitude. While the veterans hit the slopes, others can take lessons in several styles, including alpine skiing, snowboarding, telemark skiing, and Nordic skiing. Though there are lessons for children, you can always make a reservation at the resort's childcare instead and know that your kids are being looked after while you're out skiing or snowshoeing.

Summer Activities at Solitude Ski Resort

Solitude isn't just for winter stays, either! In the summer, you might take the chairlift to see the stunning countryside instead of snowy slopes, and maybe snap a few choice shots with your camera. At the top, go for a hike along one of the many trails that crisscross the area, or bring along a mountain bike. On a quiet summer afternoon, dangle a line and catch some trout in the Solitude pond. Please note, however, that fishing licenses are required and it's catch-and-release only.

Amenities at our Solitude Ski Resort lodging

Our Solitude Ski Resort lodging options include cozy condos and luxury homes, many with private hot tubs and ski-in/ski-out access to the slopes. Best of all, any of our Solitude vacation rentals are also excellent options for those who want to be close to other Salt Lake ski areas like Brighton Ski Resort, Alta, and Snowbird.

After an exhilarating day on the slopes, you'll be ready to come home to your cozy vacation rental and unwind with a cup of hot cocoa. Come relax in the quiet beauty of Solitude Ski Resort.
