Recent Tropic Isles - Gulf Shores, AL guest reviews

We have stayed at Tropic Isles several times, but this was our first time in #503. The condo is spacious and not crowded with unnecessary furniture or decorative items. Having the chest & TV in front of the bedroom window added to the room’s darkness & made for easier sleeping - no hall light shining in. All the appliances worked fine. We appreciated the labels on the light switches and the TVs were easy to figure out. The bed was great - firm but not hard - and the sheets were soft. Lots of bath towels but short on hand towels & clothes hangers, but no big deal. Since we were treated to the remnants of Rafael we did not use the patio, but did try out the famous tall yellow chairs and they ARE comfortable. Bottom line, we would return!

We were so impressed with this condo. The owners have definitely made sure that any kitchen amenity was covered, as well as, very nice balcony furniture to sit back and enjoy the ocean view. The large, walk-in, master shower was a hidden surprise. We will definitely try to book this condo in the future.

The condo’s location and view are perfection. The pool was great too. We came for a soccer tournament, so we weren’t there much, but enjoyed the stay. The dryer needs to be fixed. The handle is broken and makes it impossible to open the dryer door. It does work- just can’t pry it open to use it. It could stand a few easy updates, but it is nice. There were an alarming number of knats in the condo. That’s an easy fix, but it was super annoying.
