Recent Texas guest reviews

The house and location were fine. We wanted a weekend with a house on a canal and a pool. It was fine for the 4 adults and 2 kids. Unfortunately, there was a significant storm on arrival day and with so much rain, we were limited with time outside. The management staff were not helpful. Although, we arrived 1 hour before checkin time, they would not allow us to enter because “housekeeping needed until 4 pm to finish cleaning”. No one was there. I didn’t like it but understood they had a policy. The TV in the twin bed room would not work. Management said they would notify the local staff. The next day, we received a call from a repair person in South Carolina about the issue. He was kind enough to say he would call the management company but we never heard anything else. So with poor weather and no TV in their bedroom,it made for a challenging time with the kids. We reported that the kitchen water purifier or on demand hot water faucet (we didn’t know what it was) was non-operable. There was no response. We didn’t need it but wanted to record it so later we would not be charged for it. Our checkin instructions stated “no gate code”. There was no gate lock on the property. After checkout, we were informed that we would be charged for the missing lock. I contacted management and was told the local staff would be informed to investigate. After a few days, I contacted management again and was told they would let the local staff investigate. After 10 days, I have filed a dispute with my credit card. Communication with management was poor.

Quiet, roomy, well equipped kitchen, full-sized washer and dryer, and a lovely porch!

Perfect location! The condo is easy to find, right by the elevator and stairs. Very clean with everything you need inside. Plenty of towels and blankets. They even had beach toys brand new for the kids to enjoy! A walk away from the beach and plenty of places to eat. 10/10
