Recent Dandridge guest reviews

We really enjoyed our short stay at Skyview Lake Retreat. The view over the lake was amazing and sunsets were beautiful. The cabin was clean and inviting. The games were great for the kids and they enjoyed the bunk beds. Check in and out was easy and efficient. We will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

We loved Dandridge and the surrounding area. The house was clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed cooking on the large gas stove! We relaxed outside, drinking coffee by the gas fire pit, after a day of exploring The Great Smokies. The View was not good, due to trash around bank from hurricane. That was really heart breaking to think of the families involved… Improvements needed some on outside lighting on steps, and deck ground deck boards were loose. Caution inside by stairs. We found that walking to adjust blinds we almost fell… Over all we enjoyed and would return!

Loved the peaceful atmosphere! The swing on the screened porch was the best!

This charming town may be lesser known than nearby Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge, but that’s exactly what makes it so special. From the historic buildings and homes, to the picturesque truss bridge, the town is one of the region’s best-kept secrets. It’s also Tennessee’s second-oldest town, founded in 1783, and full of historic buildings and homes.

Dandridge rests on the shores of Douglas Lake, so you can spend your days out on the water or just admiring its beauty from the shore. Many local companies offer boat rentals, plus kayaks, paddleboards, and more. Douglas Lake is known as a top sport fishing spot, so anglers, be sure to take advantage of the great conditions. Afterward, you can cook up the day’s catch back at your Dandridge vacation rental.

If you’d like to venture to more activity, it’s just a day-trip away. Dandridge is 45 minutes from Pigeon Forge and just over an hour from Gatlinburg, two Tennessee tourist meccas. You’ll find a near-endless list of things to do from dinner theaters, an aquarium, a wax museum, haunted house attractions, water parks, and of course, Dollywood theme park.

For those of you who are truly seeking peace and quiet, Great Smoky Mountains National Park is only an hour away from Dandridge. Whether you’re enjoying a scenic drive or breaking a sweat on the hiking trails, this park is sure to leave a lasting impression of Smoky Mountains beauty.
