We booked in October for my three year old son’s late birthday present. We booked the hotel specifically for the splash pad. The week before our visit I get an email stating the splash pad was not going to be open from November 2nd to 15th. At this time, I added an extra day to be able to let my 3 year old son to have fun. He is fair skinned, as is my entire family, and the ability to getting out of the sun for play time was important and why we booked this spot. The weather was perfect in November. (My husband is born and raised in PCB as I lived here too. My husbands entire family still lives here and was able to spend time with them and make memories). What I didn’t like, was that we had to pay a parking pass for my son’s grandparents to come from in town to park. This $35 fee seemed excessive for. Few hours for the days they came to visit. I ultimately am most disappointed about not letting us know about the splash pad being closed while booking. We literally was able to enjoy the splash pad for 2 hours the entire trip being booked for 9 days…
