Location was perfect! Access to the two pools was key for a couple of windy days where the beach wasn't so pleasant. Beach access dedicated to the Sea Oats units right across the street was lovely and meant we didn't have to walk along the road to a public access spot. Having access to the pier behind the unit was nice too. There are few rentals that offer access to water on both sides. We also enjoyed the balcony space in the mornings. Having two full-sized tables in the unit worked great for us -- we often used both: one for eating and the other for games/puzzles/laptops. We had two adult kids with us, so the second bedroom with two twin beds was ideal. It's rare to find units for four that didn't just have two queen beds. Everything in the unit worked well and it was spotless when we arrived. The decor is kitschy, but it's a beach rental and had zero impact on much we enjoyed ourselves. Other reviews mention things that all appear to have been fixed by the time we rented: no issues with hot water, faucets, cleanliness or mattresses during our trip.
