Amongst the little beach towns that dot Oregon's coast, you'll find the perfect home away from home for your next getaway. Whether it's a modern condo with a breathtaking ocean view or an eclectic beach bungalow off the beaten path, our diverse selection of vacation rentals allows you to enjoy the Northern Oregon Coast your way.

Outdoor attractions on the Northern Oregon Coast

Warrenton, the northernmost tip of the Northern Oregon Coast, is located just west of the charming and historic city of Astoria. You can spend the day hiking around Fort Stevens State Park and enjoying stunning views of both the Pacific Ocean and the Columbia River, before returning back to your Warrenton getaway for some R&R in front of a crackling fire.

This northern location is also ideal for a day trip across the Astoria-Megler Bridge to Washington and the Long Beach Peninsula, a scenic stretch of land known for its wildlife-rich wetlands. The mostly-residential resort town of Gearhart sits just a short drive south. Boasting the oldest public golf course west of the Mississippi River, a popular and well-loved eatery, and a long stretch of sandy beach that is perfect for picking up sand dollars, this quiet little town is great for putting your feet up and relaxing or dipping your toes into the ocean's surf!

Shopping on the Northern Oregon Coast

The flip coin to Gearhart's sleepy, laid-back vibe is the exciting, family-friendly city of Seaside. Here you'll find a paved beach promenade, a variety of shops and restaurants, fantastic outlet shops, and much more! If you're visiting during the summer, you're in luck - every Fourth of July there's a huge celebration complete with a parade, concert, and a large fireworks display.

Northern Oregon Coast icons and attractions

As you continue traveling south, you'll discover charming Cannon Beach, with unique galleries on every block, eateries serving everything from pizza to seared ahi tuna, and a sandy beach just perfect for flying kites. Although the beach itself is considered to be one of Oregon's finest, the most notable attraction is Haystack Rock, a unique monolith that attracts both wildlife and tourists. After a delicious homemade dinner at your Cannon Beach vacation home, be sure to head down to the sand - Haystack Rock is a wonderful backdrop for sunset photos!

Like Seaside, picturesque and peaceful Rockaway Beach is a family-friendly destination that offers the quintessential beach town experience. Originally developed as a seaside resort, this town features a charming downtown section along Highway 101. Filled with taffy shops, restaurants, and galleries, you can spend an entire day just browsing the main strip. However, don't worry if you get bored of shopping - there's also seven miles of flat, sandy beach! Many of our vacation rentals in Rockaway Beach are pet friendly, so feel free to bring your dogs with you and spend your mornings playing in the surf near Twin Rocks with your furry family members.

Rockaway Beach is also a stop along the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad and close to attractions in Tillamook, Cape Meares, and Manzanita. Lincoln City is truly a hubbub of activity along the Northern Oregon Coast. With the Chinook Winds Casino and Resort, an outlet mall, a classic movie theater, and a booming glass art community, this beach town offers a variety of attractions and adventures! Comb the sands for hidden glass floats, explore nearby Siletz Bay, fish in Devil's Lake, or just spend most of your time relaxing on the deck of your Lincoln City beach getaway.

Our vacation rentals on the Northern Oregon Coast encompass everything from intimate and cozy to luxurious and palatial. The hardest part of booking your next vacation is choosing which home and which city is right for you. However, no matter what city you decide on, you'll be able to relax, explore, and enjoy a memorable beach getaway!
