2nd time I’ve stayed here and absolutely Love this house. Quiet Fishing was soooooo good 10 steps from the house.

We had a great time in this home and enjoyed our stay. It was affordable and comfortable. However this is an old home so it comes with quirks, the loft area (while gated) is steep and not recommended for kids under 10- there is a futon in the living room though which is very comfortable. It snowed during our stay and the house is old so don’t expect it to get crazy warm with all the space heaters (wood burning stove was not working during our stay) but we still managed to be comfortable. The gas range works great, not to mention having a dishwasher was an unexpected surprise. Tons of great books and maps available for cozy nights in, super fluffy towels and some super powerful gas heaters. A great stay if you are okay with what comes in an old home.
