Recent Island Sands Resort - Maui guest reviews

We were in Maui in January 2025 and grew to absolutely love the location of this room. The location is on a dead end street so there is very little traffic and the fellow guests and residents were very respectful of quiet time. Waking up to watch the whales in the morning and enjoy breakfast in peace was magical. A perfect way to start a new adventurous day on a beautiful island. The room itself is not fancy. The bed is very comfortable and all the basics are there to ensure a comfortable stay. If you want the "Hilton" you will be disappointed, but if you want quaint, peaceful and quiet, book here for sure. The vacasa person we spoke with upon arrival was so amazing. They gave us a list of things to do off the beaten trail that was suited to what we were looking for. Phenomenal. We needed a couple of extra face cloths and kitchen towels and by noon the day we asked for them we had them! I would certainly go back to this same place especially after being on a major street visiting with friends at their very busy condo.
