The lights were on when we arrived, which we appreciated. The cabin in simple and clean but very inviting and comfortable. It was perfect for our family, including our small dog. Our kids really enjoyed the large loft so they had their own space. My favorite part was waking up to the sound of the river and sitting on the large back deck. I wish the fireplace had been working, that would have really added to the cold winter evenings. Over all it's a lovely cabin, well stocked with thoughtful touches like olive oil and dryer sheets, very clean and close enough to restaraunts and shops. We would definitely stay again.

My family (4 adults) stayed in this cabin during the week of Christmas for a "rustic" change of scenery. You cannot beat the proximity and access to the river! While the property is perched right on Old 441, we weren't ever bothered by traffic noise as there just isn't much. Notes for future renters - this is a newer Vacasa property and they're working out some kinks - I suggest bringing a floor heater or two if you're staying during the winter months, as the current system cannot keep up with temps below freezing. The fireplace does not currently function, as there is no natural gas service to the home at this time. Also note - the main floor bathroom is not attached to the primary bedroom, it's separate, in the kitchen area. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, sitting by the river, around the fire pit, etc. It's a gem of a property in a fantastic location, low-key and peaceful!

What a great find & amazing location, direct access off main highway and minutes from, Fun hiking trails, Lake Rabun, Clayton downtown & Tallulah Falls. Plenty of parking space for our 42’ RV & motorcycle trailer. Large porch with comfortable patio seating & Adirondack chairs directly on the River. We enjoyed smores while relaxing to the sound of the river and catching trout. The rooms were clean, beds are comfortable and best is 2 living areas with different TVs. We would recommend it and we will be back for our annual motorcycle trip.
