Recent Forgotten Coast guest reviews

This unit was very clean and well kept. We had 2 12yo boys that slept in the loft. The other bedrooms were adequate for 4 adults. It was a short walk to the beach. The boys enjoyed the pool as well. It was too cold for the adults. We will keep this on as an option when we return.

Whether you're looking to snorkel in crystal blue waters, learn about rich history by visiting landmarks, or simply revel on your own white, sandy beach, our vacation rentals at the peaceful Forgotten Coast offer it all.

Where is Florida's Forgotten Coast?

Set along Florida's Gulf Coast, the Forgotten Coast starts with the pristine sands of Mexico Beach and ends near Apalachee Bay. About 45 miles east of the busy streets and clubs of Panama City Beach, this largely undeveloped area is close enough to larger cities that you can experience the highly-sought after Florida nightlife but quiet enough to allow you to relax in peace at your own vacation rental.

Things to do on the Forgotten Coast

With the ocean, beaches, and trails of nearby Nature Preserves as your playground, you'll have a wide offering of local attractions and possibilities for fun. Get out in the water with a fun-filled day of snorkeling or scalloping with the experts of Seahorse Water Safaris, or rent your own equipment and head out to discover the wonders of the underwater world just in your backyard.

Create perfect sunset memories with a ride through the waves on horseback! Whether you have a family with kids or desire a romantic ride for two, Two-Bit Stables creates the perfect environment for you to make memories trotting through the gentle surf at Cape San Blas.

Featuring 18 beautiful holes and a 72-par design, the St. Joseph's Bay Country Club just south of Port St. Joe gives golfers the perfect excuse to revel in a lush, tropical landscape. Try to stay out of the water hazards that decorate 14 of the 18 holes as you navigate the fast greens and work on your slice.

Head over to Bluewater Outriggers to get everything you need to catch a few Spanish Mackerels and score some fresh fish to cook in your lovely rental kitchen. Or rent a stand-up paddleboard and get out on the waves for some picturesque paddling along the coast. With everything you need to enjoy the great outdoors, you'll have everything you need at your fingertips to get the most out of your stay.
