Recent St. George Island guest reviews

This house fit our needs exactly. We were fortunate that the really close neighboring houses were unoccupied so we had privacy. It is a beach house so we expected foggy windows, etc. However what we really needed was clean dishes. I think the cleaning crew needs to clean the filter on the drain in the dishwasher and make sure that the dishes coming out are actually clean. Bedrooms were very roomy and the supplies were generous. Accurate instructions for the remote controllers would also be an improvement but the wi-fi was instant and reliable. We were very pleased and will definitely rent again. Trash instructions are needed as when we called they couldn't give us info about what and where to dispose of trash. Otherwise we missed the house before we were even out of the driveway.

We had a great stay at this home. The wifi was down most of the week, but it was due to island-wide outages and not because of any neglect by the property owner or property manager. We would stay in this house again!

This house felt like it was recently renovated. Very clean and well equipped kitchen for cooking, the hot tub was great but pool is not heated in the winter. This house was great for two couples or two families. Small living room, but everyone had a tv in their bedroom! We used the screened in porch for every meal, no dining room inside, just barstools at kitchen island. . I would definitely stay at Fruitcakes again! Loved our visit. Only negative : I would recommend to the management to not be so stingy with toilet paper, and garbage bags! We ran out of both and had to go to the store on a 5 night stay.
