This was our second time staying at this gem in San Diego, and it was just as wonderful as the first! We arrived an hour before check-in and were graciously allowed to enter early, which was such a thoughtful gesture.
From the moment we stepped inside, we found a clean and welcoming home that truly has everything you need. We chose this spot to enjoy the last days of 2024, and although we don’t live far from San Diego, this getaway felt absolutely perfect.
The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials, and everything was spotless, which made preparing meals a breeze. Having a washer and dryer was an added bonus, especially since we extended our stay from 3 nights to 6.
The location is incredibly convenient. You’re walking distance from coffee shops, a brewery, a liquor store, a gas station, and some charming small shops. Plus, it’s just a quick drive to downtown San Diego.
While we were sad to leave, we’re already looking forward to coming back soon. This spot has become a favorite for us, and we can’t recommend it enough!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. Yes, the neighborhood is rough. There are tons and tons of homeless people BUT we were never bothered and took Uber/Lyft from the property everywhere we went. When waiting outside you can wait inside the gate. The noise was surprisingly not too bad and we stayed over New Years as well.
The house is clean and updated. PROS: I very much appreciated the extra fans stored in each room's closet. We used the washer and dryer which worked well. TV/Wifi with no issues. Shower very nice. Extra blankets for sitting on couch was nice. No issues with code for gate/door. Check IN/OUT very easy. CONS: The Keurig still does not work as in other reviews, had to use coffee pot. The bed was too soft for my liking (but this is personal preference). TV in the second bedroom would be a plus.

Everything about this home on Madison is cozy, lovely, well appointed, and perfect! We have rented many places in San Diego and rate this the best!
