Recent Copper Mountain guest reviews

This was a very clean condo with a great location very close to the lifts, with food and shopping even closer. the hot tub is nice, as is the sauna. It hasplenty of sleeping room and two nice bathrooms. It being on the first floow with big windows was mentioned by previous guests as being not so great was not something I was not worried about, but once there I did feel a bit exposed to people being able to see in from outside. I suggest re-thinking the window coverings.

The apartment itself was great, the building , though, only had one operating elevator and there happened to be a ski competition going on, so being on the 5th floor made for some long wait times to get an elevator. The only other thing I would note is that if you are planning on a lengthy stay, there is no dresser, so plan on living out of your suitcase. Our stay was probably on the bubble of live out of the suitcase vs unpacking to a dresser, so it wasn’t really any inconvenience to us. If I were planning on a longer trip, though, I’d want to know… Otherwise, we very much enjoyed our stay. We ate out most of the time so I can’t really speak to the kitchen amenities. From what I saw, it seemed we could have cooked some simple meals there. We weren’t there to ski, but it is conveniently located to the slopes. Also has the convenience of garage parking. Copper Mountain Resort

As part of the Rocky Mountains, Copper Mountain is known for its wintertime activities. From skiing to snowboarding, there's something for everyone at this world-class resort! Known for its naturally divided terrain with distinct areas for advanced, intermediate, and beginner trails, Copper Mountain welcomes guests of all ages and levels of experience. If you aren't feeling confident on the slopes, stop by the Ski & Ride School for a half- or full-day lesson. Additional attractions include a tubing hill, West Lake ice skating, and the Woodward Copper, a unique indoor freestyle training facility that is open to the public.

Whether you're a snow bunny or prefer a warm seat in the lodge, you're in luck when you stay in one of our conveniently-located vacation rentals! While the kids are enjoying the slopes, treat yourself to a relaxing spa package at the Copper Mountain Spa & Athletic Club or a delicious dinner at the on-site restaurant.

Places to eat in Copper Mountain

When you need a break from outdoor activities or have just worked up an appetite, Copper Mountain certainly has a lot of dining options! From waffles at the Belgian Bean to sushi at the Storm King, the resort has a number of dining options when you don't feel like making a meal back in the kitchen of your Copper Mountain ski chalet.

Summer activities in Copper Mountain

In summer, the same area that was once covered by a blanket of snow hosts the Ragnar Relay, a popular and grueling relay race from Copper Mountain to the Snowmass Ski Resort in the upscale city of Aspen. For a less strenuous activity, you can ride the Copper Mountain chairlift for a day of hiking around mountain wildflowers, ride hundreds of miles of mountain bike trails, or play a round of golf at the Copper Creek Golf Course.

Other outdoor activities can be found to the north, at the Eagles Nest Wilderness Area. A unique area, this breathtaking section of the Gore Range has more vertical than horizontal space! About 180 miles of trails lead to an alpine lake and, although hiking in this area can be difficult, it is worth the reward.

You'll find that all of Summit County's attractions are within an easy drive from your front door - skiing, hiking, biking, shopping, dining and more! Come experience this truly jaw-dropping Colorado destination for yourself when you stay in one of our Copper Mountain vacation rentals.
