This cute little cabin was exactly what we were looking for. The amenities were up-to-date and did not leave us without the comforts of home. I especially enjoyed drinking coffee on the porch and playing video games with my wife on the retro arcade console located on the loft. And while we did not use the local bus, having the bus stop a stone’s throw away is a plus for anyone wishing to forego driving through traffic in the Village or finding parking at Bear Mountain. I’d definitely like to come back to La Cabinita Purvis in the future. The only drawback was the restricted water flow in a couple of locations inside the cabin and the lack of access to the beautiful gas fireplace in the living room. While Vacasa might be effective at managing rental properties, being able to communicate directly with the owner would have led us to locating the switch for the fireplace. Messaging Vacasa did not result in a solution to the issue since the representative was unfamiliar with the specific layout. As of this writing, I still don’t know how to turn on the fireplace. Nonetheless, overall this was a positive experience.
