Lovely haven just steps from Canyon lodge! All the kitchen appliances/utensils you'd find at home, lots of firewood and equipped with a brand new washer/dryer :)

Everything went well from check in to check out. The place itself has good space and the two bedrooms are great. The heating in the unit provides even heat throughout the unit. My only complaint which is so minor that I still give the place 5 stairs is that there were no plates and no bowls. There are utensils, pots, pans, but I was surprised to not have any plates or bowls. Simple fix. The unit itself was clean, my bed had one hair in the bed and one hair on the pillow but it did seem that everything was washed, possibly just a random hair that got mixed in somehow. There is a little bit of deferred maintenance and you can tell that dogs have scratched or chewed up some of the baseboards/trim in some areas. Either way not a big deal and we were happy with the unit and would rent again. Thanks.

This was clean and spacious. We did check out the hot tub which was nice and warm on a snowy day! Check in and out is a little more involved than most other rentals but overall was easy and had clear directions. We were a couple with a small dog on a ski weekend. Google maps might tell you to take the main road to get to the village but the hotel has its own set of stairs that go down the hill across the street right to the gondola. I’m a wuss about my ski boots particularly on hard ground, but it was very doable and we felt no need to rent a boot locker. Typically we stay at the mammoth mountain inn right at the main lodge but it was nice to be in the village and have more walkability. The ski in ski out difference was just about three flights of stairs between gondola and hotel entrance. Anyway, the room was as expected and the location was the big sell. Can’t speak for value as that fluctuates by person and time of year but we booked during a cheaper time of year at the start of the season and it felt appropriately priced for a Westin.
