I was completely enchanted by every aspect of this home. It exudes beauty and serenity, with breathtaking views that instantly put me at ease. One of the highlights was walking to the nearby Chateau St. John winery with a friend. The grounds were perfect for a leisurely stroll, with people enjoying picnics while we marveled at the rows of vines, quietly waiting to transform into wine. The house itself was a true gem, with its unique straw bale construction offering a warm, organic feel. I especially loved the charming peek-through door that gave a glimpse of the straw bales inside. The architectural details were so intriguing, from the rope baseboards to the graceful arched doorways—I'm not usually one to notice such things, but these features really stood out. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the clear labeling of the light fixtures, which made it easy to navigate everything. But what really stole the show for me was the master shower—absolutely luxurious! It was so inspiring that I would love to incorporate similar design elements in my own home. The master bedroom was equally impressive, with an oversized bed that was beyond comfortable—honestly, I didn’t want to leave! Outdoors, the property had plenty of seating, from patio tables to lounge chairs, all perfectly placed overlooking a natural pond in back that drew vibrant mallards and geese. Overall, my stay here was incredibly restorative. I left feeling refreshed and completely rejuvenated, and I can't recommend this place enough!

Loved our stay in Kenwood. The house was so comfortable, clean and the perfect setting for celebrating a milestone birthday. We had 3 couples staying here and had plenty of room. The bocce court was a hit, the hot tub was the ideal way to spend an evening. Kenwood itself is pretty quiet but we had fun exploring Sonoma Valley. Definitely want to come back.
