It's the perfect home base for hiking, biking, and taking scenic drives, with the full splendor of the Gorge easily accessible to the east. Hike Coyote Wall and Mosier Plateau (18 miles), spend a day windsurfing and orchard-hopping in Hood River (25 miles), or visit The Dalles Dam (three miles) and the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center (eight miles) closer to home.
