A few miles south on Highway 23, you can see lions, tigers, and bears at the famous Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge. Other nearby attractions include caverns, state parks, trails, historic landmarks, rivers, lakes, and ziplines through the mountains. An hour-long trip to the northeast will take you to Branson, Missouri, with its famous local shows and theme park, Silver Dollar City.
