Beautiful home. Very spacious. The views from the deck are beautiful. We were able to have room for everyone to spend time together and do activities. There is a lovely office with a view of the green that we were able to work at.

Everything was just right. Space was clean, organized, and ready for us to spend a few days away. All amenities down to the smallest detail are clearly considered, and it made for a very comfortable, relaxing stay. Would highly recommend.

Brown Bear Cottage is a fantastic stay in the country. It was beautiful weather to take advantage of the outdoor patio and fireplace/pit, so we missed out on all the activities provided in the downstairs level. We all decided we'll just have to come back for more fun!

Starting from the North Woods and winding its way across the state, the Wisconsin River is a tributary of the Mississippi River and is the longest river in the state. Along the banks, you’ll find golf courses, parks, and natural habitats for wildlife including cranes, beavers, white-tail deer, and otters. Nekoosa’s proximity to the river also makes it a beloved spot for boating, fishing, and birdwatching.

With a Nekoosa vacation rental, enjoy small-town charm with nearby parks, bowling lanes, and the Wisconsin Rapids Zoo. Come back to simple joys with a long walk around the Cranberry Creek GameBird footpaths, or spot some buffalos along the Sandhill State Wildlife Area’s drive-through trails. Put your feet up and relax, you’re on vacation.
