The space and location
Sylvain C. | Nov 2024
We loved our stay here. It was plenty big enough & so eloquently decorated to make it homey enough but not too over the top. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty hot water. It was within close proximity to hot spots while still having a private feel. Waking up to the sunrise over the ocean was magical. Neighbors were friendly & waved. Loved our stay here.

We had a wonderful stay. Gorgeous view, quiet beach and beautiful complex. Plenty of room for two families.

Where is Palm Coast, FL?

Palm Coast is conveniently located just 30 miles south of charming, historic St. Augustine and 30 miles north of laid-back Daytona Beach, right between I-95 and the scenic A1A. With miles of adjacent beaches and a number of exciting destinations close by, you'll have no trouble filling your days with fun in the sun for everyone.

Things to do in Palm Coast, FL

In a state known for its terrific beaches, the Palm Coast area is no exception. Located right across A1A, spend the day at Jungle Hut Road Park, a stretch of pristine, sandy beach where you can watch flights of pelicans, comb the water's edge for seashells, or spend the day surfing. This beach, like a few others in the area, offers plenty of parking, public restrooms, and a convenient outdoor shower.

Visit Washington Oaks Gardens State Park, nestled between the ocean and the Matanzas River, for a romantic stroll among the roses and live oaks with incredible views of the Intracoastal Waterway where you can watch for passing dolphins. Smaller children will enjoy the playground, and as this park is located right on the Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail, there are numerous opportunities for birdwatching, so don't forget your camera!

For prime shopping and dining, check out the European Village in Palm Coast. Featuring unique shops, superb restaurants, bars, and two cafés, this area is a must-see. Be sure to check their event calendar for holiday celebrations, a popular farmer's market, live entertainment, and much more.

Golfers can enjoy a few highly regarded, semi-private courses throughout Palm Coast including the Cypress Knoll Golf & Country Club, Palm Harbor Golf Club, and the Pine Lakes Golf Club, one of northern-central Florida's most challenging courses featuring a signature Arnold Palmer design.

Day trips and short drives from Palm Coast, FL

While you'll have no trouble finding things to do close by, short journeys north, south, or west will take you to several exciting and worthwhile destinations. Head north 30 miles to visit historic St. Augustine, considered by many to be the oldest city in the United States! Visit the Castillo de San Marcos, an impressive, 17th-century Spanish fortress offering views of the St. Augustine Inlet, or walk the sandy beaches.

Just 30 miles south, spend some time in Daytona Beach for seaside family fun or after-hours nightlife. Daytona Beach also offers culture seekers a number of impressive galleries and museums including the Cici and Hyatt Brown Museum of Art, the Museum of Arts and Sciences, and the Daytona Maritime Museum.
