From the moment we walked into this amazing home it truly felt like a welcoming sanctuary. The warmth and comfort of the space made us feel right at home. The all-wood interior is absolutely stunning giving the house a rustic elegant charm that we couldn't help but admire. Every corner of the house was spotless, showing the care and attention to detail that went into keeping it pristine. One of the absolute standup features for our family was the location. The house is conveniently situated, not perched on any hills or steep mountains which is incredibly important for us. We all tend to get carsick easily so being able to enjoy the scenic surroundings without worrying about winding, steep roads was a huge relief. It's also close to Food Lion for easy access to essentials if you prefer staying in. Plus there's a great pizza place right at the end of the complex for those nights when you don't feel like cooking. The location is truly perfect just under 10 miles from the heart of everything so close to all the action, but still tucked away enough for some peace and quiet when you want to relax. The hot tub was the perfect touch for unwinding after a day of exploring. The kids absolutely love the upstairs bunkbeds and the foosball table it was a huge hit for a fun family time. This house is an absolute must book place and we can't wait to return. Every aspect of the day was enjoyable, and we definitely will be back for more wonderful memories.

If you’ve ever wanted to live in a whimsical fairy-tale cottage with a slight identity crisis, this is the place for you! The location is fantastic, though the “view” is more of an exercise in imagination. However, the creek is nature’s white noise machine, lulling you into the best sleep of your life—assuming you can drag yourself out of the ridiculously comfortable beds. The house technically sleeps six, but let’s just say the living room and kitchen are playing a game of “musical chairs” where someone is always left standing. Cozy? Yes. Spacious? Not unless your group is made up of hobbits. Now, about the entertainment: two of the four TVs had rogue remotes that had clearly embarked on their own adventure—possibly with the missing living room seating. On the plus side, this added an unexpected challenge of “Guess Which Remote Works!” (Spoiler: Not the ones you need.) The outdoor space? Absolutely delightful! The hot tub, however, is a social experiment in how close you’re willing to get with your travel companions. It’s perfect for four small humans or two full-sized adults who don’t mind accidental leg contact. Overall, a charming stay! Would we return? Yes—but next time, we’re bringing camping chairs and a universal remote.
