The cabin was probably my favorite part of my trip this week for my birthday. It was so clean for a cabin, comfortable and cozy. It was cold outside but the hot tub and heating inside were perfect. It’s so close to Unicoi state park and downtown Helen. We went to Anna Ruby falls down the street, which was very beautiful and an easy hike. When it rained on the last night, the pattering on the roof was like a dream to fall asleep to. Definitely would return and/or recommend to a friend! Thank u vacasa 🙏🏼

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy home in Helen, GA. As a group of four adult women, it was the perfect setting for a relaxing and comfortable weekend getaway. The house was clean, with comfortable furniture and beds that made for a restful stay. Each of us had our own private room, which was a great bonus and gave us the space we needed to unwind and enjoy some peace and quiet. The house was generally well-stocked with essentials, though we did notice it was missing a few basics like salt and pepper — a small detail, but worth mentioning for future guests. We were excited to make smoothies during our stay, especially when we saw a blender available. Unfortunately, it didn’t work, but it wasn’t enough of an issue to contact the owner about. One of the best parts of the house was its location. Tucked away in a private area, we were far from the noise of the town, but still close enough to drive to the charming village of Helen. The area felt peaceful and secluded, which made it easy to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. Helen itself is a quaint little town with lots of fun activities, unique shops, and great food — definitely worth exploring if you have the chance! Overall, this rental offered a great combination of comfort, privacy, and convenience. We had a lovely time and would recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with easy access to all that Helen has to offer.

Coastal Georgia

The historic coastal city of Savannah is like no other, with its cobblestone streets, iconic tree-lined squares, and stately 18th and 19th-century Southern architecture. The city also boasts a hip, trendy restaurant scene, and the prestigious Savannah College of Art and Design. Skip the hotels and embrace the city's charming private residences by staying in one of our beautiful Savannah vacation rentals, where you'll feel right at home. If you're looking for a bonafide beach vacation, explore our offerings on Tybee Island (just east of Savannah) or further down the coast on St. Simons Island—both options are breezy, serene, and a little bit luxurious.

Georgia cities

Further inland, also along the Savannah River, the mid-size city of Augusta is home to the prestigious Augusta National Golf Club. Georgia's capital city of Atlanta ranks as the ninth-largest metropolitan area in the United States and is known for its tree-shaded streets, soulful and groundbreaking music scene, and for being home to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. If you go, be sure to include a visit to the National Historic Sites documenting his life and activism during your stay.

Escape to the Blue Ridge Mountains

Georgia is bordered to the north by Tennessee and South Carolina, and it's around this intersection that the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains play their part in Appalachia. Throughout Blue Ridge, the land offers countless opportunities for hiking, whitewater rafting, dining, and simply enjoying a weekend away in a cozy cabin. There's nothing quite like escaping to a Blue Ridge cabin for the weekend, soaking in your rental's hot tub, and watching the sun sink over the trees. Experience Oktoberfest in Helen, apple picking in Ellijay, or a theme park day in the town of Blue Ridge—it's all here waiting for you at a Georgia vacation rental.

From Appalachia to the coast, Georgia's southern comfort and natural beauty can't be beaten. Book one of our Georgia vacation rentals for your next visit to this majestic state.
