Spa on Port Royal Sound - Hilton Head, SC Vacation Rentals

I loved everything, very clean and very elegant, my family and I felt like we were at home. I would come back again and I recommend it 💯

Thr condo had everything we needed and being on the end of the sound it was peaceful with not alot of traffic. The balcony was screened in which was perfect for relaxing and eating without pests. It also had a mirror on the wall so you had a view of the sound no matter where you sat. The grounds were lovely, well kept and very easy access to the water. When the tide was out you could walk out on sand bars for great shell hunting. The only down side was no elevators.

We had a wonderful stay at the Spa on Port Royal Sound during the last week of September. The entire apartment, along with the furnishings, looked updated and as shown in the pictures. The apartment was immaculately clean when we arrived. There were ample towels and starter supplies in both the bathrooms and the kitchen was well stocked with cutlery and other utensils. The screened in porch was well used by us. Apart from the apartment, we loved the grounds of the complex. The complex had two landscaped courtyards with trees providing large shaded areas, tennis courts, two outdoor pools, and one indoor pool and spa, which we used almost every day of our stay. It was probably the lean season when we were there because we had the entire indoor pool to ourselves on all days. The best part of the compound was the pier that led out into the beach along the river / ocean front. The beach during low tide was a sight to behold with clam bays, aquatic plants and critters in full display. One could walk right into the sand bars. It has to be one of the most beautiful small town waterfronts we have seen along the south-eastern coast of the US. We also had an entertaining time observing all the feral cats around the complex as well as the ones from the neighboring non-profit shelter. They could be seen roaming all around the complex and lounging on the boundary walls surrounding the complex but they did maintain a safe distance from all humans all the time.. Our stay coincided with the timing of Hurricane Helene. Thankfully Hilton Head Island was spared any severe damages. We do appreciate the management agency checking in on us a day after the storms inquiring about our wellbeing or if anything about our stay needed to be looked into. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and will be back someday soon for a much longer stay. The apartment and the complex is perfectly located for a long and relaxed do-nothing kind of vacation.
