Oceanfront, dog-friendly home with deck, firepit, grill, & sweeping ocean views

The moment you walk into this lovely home you will be transported to paradise. Experience sweeping views of the ocean during the day and the twinkling lights of the City of San Diego at night. Fall asleep to the sound of the waves crashing on the bluffs below, and spend the sunny La Jolla days on either of the two large decks overlooking the ocean. Watch the surfers and the kite surfers as you look for the dolphins and seals that swim by, or take the short walk to the beach and explore the tide pools at low tide. Starbucks, restaurants, and unique shopping are just a short stroll away.

Just bring your suitcase, because everything else has been provided. The furnishings are bright and comfortable with a fireplace in the living room along with a top-of-the-line entertainment center that includes a new HDTV and iPod connection. There is a separate dining room with walls of windows and 180-degree views of the ocean to enjoy a cozy meal with family or friends. The kitchen has new appliances and everything even the most experienced chef would need at his or her disposal.

The main bedroom has panoramic views of the ocean with a new California king-size bed and a new HDTV. An attached main bath with a new tile floor and a connecting built-in custom closet with lots of storage space complete the main retreat. The second bedroom, which also could be the main suite, has a beautiful wrought-iron queen-size bed with a built-in custom closet, a new HDTV, and a connecting bathroom. The third bedroom also has sweeping views of the ocean and a brand new king bed along with a built-in custom closet. The bathroom is across the hall.

There is plenty of closet and storage space throughout the house. A separate laundry room houses a washer and dryer. Enjoy the outside shower, new barbecue, and a fire pit on one deck to watch the city lights at night and roast a marshmallow or two. Teak outdoor furniture with a dining table that seats guests all under a patio deck cover so you can enjoy the outdoors under shade cover or work on your tan in the sun. A one-car garage and plenty of room to store bikes, surfboards, and toys is available for extra storage, along with plenty of additional parking on a quiet street.

The nearest beach for sunbathing, surfing, and swimming is Tourmaline Beach. A quick stroll up the street to a staircase will lead you down to a smaller beach perfect for tide pooling among the rocks. If stairs pose a problem, you can access the beach from the Tourmaline Surfing Park parking lot, located just a brisk walk away, or a short drive south of the home. This is truly a fabulous and luxurious oceanfront retreat. You'll never want to leave!
