Wonderful location, well-stocked home with quality appliances, cookware and linens. Also appreciated the awesome box of beach chairs, snorkel gear, etc. light and bright home with cute decor.

Had issues upon check-in but didn’t complain. A couple days later asked for garbage bags and was asked for reviews on the cleanliness at check-in, which I had to tell the truth as it was bad. Staff was there still doing stuff at check-in, recycling was completely full, and garbage half full and it smelled of garbage upon entry inside the kitchen and dining area. Had sand and woodchips that needed cleaning and food stuck to silverware than needed hand washed all on day 1. Was told only 1 garbage bag per container is provided by the people asking for cleanliness rating. Later told by local mgmt there should have been bags, but there wasn’t. It was all odd and I would have given a 1 star except the local team was trying to make it right by offering compensation that I didn’t request. We spend 11 months a year in short and mid term rentals and the other month in hotels, and I do find this rental to be severely lacking someone paying attention. We only had like 6-7 laundry pods for our group. We left loads of stuff behind as I’m sure most do, yet they don’t keep it for the next guest so you check in and don’t have basics like cooking spray / oil which is very very basic to provide for the past several years. This resulted in us spending 1hr+ 4 times (driving 30 minutes each way to Walmart) to purchase and refill basics. On our one down day, we dealt with lawn care being there literally from 7:45am am until after 5pm… extremely loud all day long and smell of gas exhaust permeating the house as you need windows open to cool the place down as there is no air conditioning. This same day we took phone calls from them reaching out regarding the score we gave on cleanliness survey. Personally we honestly didn’t want to be bothered with the phone calls we received that resulted in the compensation on our family vacation. But I give credit to them trying to make it right of their own volition: hence the 4 stars and not 1 star. Blinds are still missing from windows you would want blinds on in order to sleep and keep the place cool when the sun is positioned in front of them. Many windows have issues. Yadda yadda, it’s been said in other reviews. Oh also there was a major leak when the sprinklers went off that resulted in water pooling by one of the sliding door exits that we let them know about. It just really needs someone paying attention and on top of fixing some things for a while. Sadly, I don’t think I would book again at the current rates.

Great stay, the key pad on the door didn’t work during the stay but the staff was helpful trying to fix it and we were able to use the extra key.
