Unit is everything you need and nothing you don’t. Nice balcony and view. Our kids loved the bunk beds and main room was pleasant enough. Great beach and really does feel private aside from the other vacationers in the complex (and it’s not a big one. Kure Beach is already quieter than Carolina, and being down near Fort Fisher adds to the effect). Finding beach chairs and a few beach toys, kickboard, and umbrella in the closet to use was a nice surprise. Only nitpick would be to perhaps up the soap/shampoo from a single tiny bar and bottle to two, particularly if you’re aiming for people to book more than a night or families. Or, do a better job of noting items to bring and those that are provided in the unit description or confirmation email. Doesn’t detract from the stay, but it’s a small touch that you notice.

The cottage was legitimately a block and a half from the pier, we went on the pier multiple times and had no issues with the walk. It was very convenient to the grocery store and a few fast food restaurants. We roamed from Wilmington to the ferry and it was fairly local to most of our activities. The house itself was very nice, the bathroom was a little cramped but it was not an issue at all. The rooms were nice, small closet and drawers. Nice bed pretty comfy. The loving room was nice and clean. The kitchen was fairly sized, really good for 2 people to be cooking. The fridge, stove everything was good, had a great sink, it was double sided and deep. Everything was set conveniently. Nice porch and yard. Porch swing looking toward the ocean.
