The whole family will love this South Padre Island condo, with room for six people and up to two dogs! After days on the beach, come home to a companionable retreat with a relaxing atmosphere and a shared pool.

Located towards the center of South Padre Island, it's only steps from the condo building to the white sand beach. The immediate area is one of the fun parts of town, and there are several eateries and shops within a few blocks. If you're heading to the south end of the island for its nightlife, hop on the free shuttle that runs until 8pm!

Light walls and floors contrast with the bright colors of the decor, creating a modern and relaxed atmosphere. Curl up on a couch with a rented DVD, or watch a marathon of your favorite show on cable. Hopefully you can take it easy while you're here, but if you need to check emails, WiFi is available.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare delicious meals. Wake up in the morning and brew some coffee to perk yourself up, or start the day with a healthy smoothie. Marinate and bake fresh-caught fish—it's so much better than what you can get at the store back home! When you're finished cooking, a dishwasher cuts down on the drudgery of dishes.

Outside in the courtyard is a shared pool where you can swim to your heart's content. Do some laps for exercise, or just splash around to cool off. On a Friday night during the summer, head to your private balcony for an excellent view of the weekly fireworks bursting overhead.

Two comfortable bedrooms provide space for up to six lucky guests—for a small nightly fee, that can also include two dogs. The first romantic bedroom, perfect for a couple, has a luxurious king bed, an en suite bathroom, and sliding glass doors out to the balcony. The second has one twin bed and one double bed, ideal for a few kids or a second couple. If your group needs more space, there's a sofabed in the living room.

With two bathrooms, there's no need to wait to wash off the salt spray after a walk along the waves.

There's a reason South Padre Island is so beloved a tourist destination—there's so much to do! Charter a boat and go fishing, or observe marine life. Build sandcastles on the beach, or better yet, enter a sandcastle competition! (There are lessons available if you want to up your game before you enter.)

It's not all outdoor fun, though. On Wednesdays, grab a drink at the Quarterdeck while the kids watch the crab races. On other days, you can find some of the best dance bands there so that you can dance up a storm. Consider dinner at Liam's, which has excellent steak, or Blackbeard's, known for its food and margaritas.
