Recent Hilo guest reviews

We were only here for 2 nights and overall it was wonderful. Beautiful place, right along the road that takes you to multiple beaches. Our biggest con and the reason for a star to be removed, is b/c Vacasa needs to up their game on the information they provide to their guests. Overall Vacasa was wonderful, but for future guests, they do not provide all of the pertinent information. 24 hours before you arrive they provide the address and the code for the lockbox on the condo door. What they fail to mention is that you actually need a key to use the elevator to even get to your condo and you have to contact Vacasa to now get a new code and location for the other lockbox that houses the keys. Why they wouldn't provide that information at the beginning I have no idea. Which honestly made us mad as we only had about 15 mins to unpack and change before heading to Mauna Kea and having to contact Vacasa made us late. Also please note there is a space you are supposed to park your car at (which if i remember correctly was space 39 for this condo) but you don't find that out until you have gotten in your room and looked at the book. Overall I would stay here again if we ever have the pleasure of coming back.
