This sleepy beach town is a great spot to relax, let the cares of the world drift away with the changing tide, and spend quality time with loved ones. Head down to the beach for a peaceful stroll while listening to the waves crash, let the kids chase the seagulls and search for seashells, and see who can build the tallest sand castle. This stretch of the beach tends to be uncrowded and is particularly excellent for beachcombing and hunting for tide pools, as well. Waldport is eight miles north, and Newport is 24 miles away, both great places to explore.
