The small town of Manitowish Waters is a short three-and-a-half-mile drive and is located in a scenic area off Route 51. This town has a great abundance of locally-owned restaurants and the shops add to the overall relaxed vibe. Outdoor enthusiasts will have a blast here all year long with all the opportunities to try various outdoor activities such as boating, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, and fishing. There’s no shortage of land-based activities, with snowmobiling, snowshoeing, skiing, and miles of hiking and mountain biking available. You'll be sitting near snowmobile trails and have snowmobile access to the lake. A paved bike trail from Manitowish Waters to St. Germain offers a unique way to tour the area while getting some exercise.
