During warmer months, make a day of golfing at a local course or explore the many trailheads found within minutes of your front door. For an additional fee, guests have access to Beech Mountain Club which has golf (May 15-Oct. 15), a heated pool (Memorial Day to Labor Day), tennis courts, pickleball courts, a fitness room, and the clubhouse restaurant. Some popular hiking and mountain biking areas are Emerald Outback, Sunset Park, and Perry Park. Come winter, the skiers in your party will be in paradise with Beech Mountain Ski Resort sitting less than two miles from home base. And don't forget to grab a bite to eat at Brick Oven Pizzeria or Beech Mountain Grille after a full day of action.
