Step through the front door and into an open and sunny home with high ceilings and several windows looking out over the adjacent greenbelt. Prepare home-cooked, cost-saving meals in the well-equipped kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances and a breakfast bar, and then dine together at the large table. Gather in the adjacent and very comfortable living area with a gas fireplace and a flatscreen TV, or head out to the large, furnished deck where you can fire up the gas grill and watch for visiting wildlife. This home is also equipped with fast WiFi for streaming movies in the living room and primary bedroom while also using your devices.

Solitude by the Sea is ideal for those looking to get away from it all for a while, whether you're spending the bulk of your time at home, exploring the surrounding forests, or heading down to the beach. For local attractions, check out the Cape Mendocino Lighthouse in Mal Coombs Park at the tip of Point Delgada, just a mile south. Slip into your hiking boots and explore the Lost Coast Trail (the Black Sands Trailhead is less than two miles north).   • The top bunk (double bed) holds up to 200 lbs. While it may be acceptable for two children, it may not be suited for two adults. The home will still sleep nine adults with remaining beds.
