Nestled in the private club enclave of Entrada, is this special property we call the Red Rock Casita. It is part of a larger home with two other separate spaces for rental. Inside, you will notice wonderful amenities which include a king-sized bed, set up to achieve the spectacular views of Snow Canyon and surrounding Red Rock, Windows have electric blinds for convenience and privacy. There is a large flat-screen TV suspended above the fireplace, which provides plenty of heat and beauty, should you get chilly. The bathroom has an oversized spa tub, a separate rain shower, and a private toilet. The main area has a convenient kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, sink, dishes, and coffeemaker. Outside, is a beautiful patio that has direct long views of the West Mountains, Red Mountain, and Snow Canyon where you will enjoy relaxing mornings or sunsets at day's end. This casita is located in a gated community that sits alongside the (private) Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club, where it enjoys views of St. George's red rock wonders. Whether you're a hiker, a mountain biker, or simply in search of desert relaxation, this location provides the ideal base camp. You'll be just over two miles south of Snow Canyon State Park, where you can hike Johnson Canyon, Jenny's Trail, Scout Cave, and the Hidden Pinyon Red Sands, or explore Whiptail and West Canyon by bike. The renowned Tuacahn Center For the Arts is only three miles north, the Kayenta Art Village is five miles west, and a wealth of great restaurants (including Black Bear Diner, Angelica’s Mexican Grill, Hawaiian Poke Bowl, and Sakura) are within a six-mile drive. The stunning landscapes of Zion National Park are also just a day trip away (52 miles east).
Things to know:
-As this is part of the larger home this Casita is connected to, you may have other guests that share part of the space. There are two large Water Heaters that provide the whole home with plenty of hot water, although if several of the spa tubs are running at the same time, you may experience a lesser flow of water. This is due to the whole house filtration system that filters and softens the water running to all of the water outlets in the home. If this happens, waiting a few minutes will do the trick. We felt that this inconvenience is more than offset by the availability of pure, clean filtered water to our guests.
- If your stay is longer than a few days, there is a trash can in the garage for your waste materials.
- Since the Casita is contiguous to the larger home, you may hear your neighbors in other parts of the house from within. We have provided Green Noise makers to abrogate and drown out stray noises and to help, also, with partners who may snore. We ask that you kindly be respectful with the playing of music or making other excessive noises when you are
our guest.
- Please use the parking on the street when you have fellow guests in the adjoining unit, so that they may utilize the space within the garage without being blocked in.
- We are constantly striving to improve our guest experience, and as such, are adding a hot water recirculation to the system, so that hot water is more quickly available to you, our
guests. If you have any concerns, we would love to get your feedback to make our home a more enjoyable place for your visit.
