According to the Cannon Beach Historical Society, the house was built in 1928 by a bootlegger who distributed his liquor up and down the coast during Prohibition. It still possesses much of its original charm, including beautiful wood floors and beadboard walls and ceilings that create a warm and cozy beach atmosphere.

Tolovana Beach is two and a half miles south, the ideal spot to fly a kite, build sandcastles, or just take a leisurely stroll along the beach.
