Recent Groveland guest reviews

We loved the constant sightings of deer and wild turkeys. The neighborhood was in a great setting and located close to Columbia and Yosemite, not to mention charming Groveland.

The housing area is lovely, even more so because the fall colored trees were stunning. Lots of kitchen space for cooking a full Thanksgiving meal, plus nice seating areas to have great "catch up" conversations or veg out watching movies after a long day of hiking. It was a bit too cold most of the time to sit out all day on the deck and enjoy the quiet view however we did enjoy one sunny afternoon of squirrel and bird watching. Dependable connectivity was a bonus and the neighborhood seemed very safe. The bedroom lighting was insufficient, but the beds were good. Overall a nice peaceful holiday!

We had a pleasant stay at the house. It was very clean, and all the amenities were well-provided. The surrounding area and parking facilities were excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed the location and its serene environment. However, we did face a challenge with the stair and outer lighting leading to the parking at night. We couldn't locate the switch to turn on the lights, which made it difficult to move items, especially since it was raining. The wooden steps were extremely slippery and dark, posing a safety concern. As we arrived at night, we struggled to carry our belongings while relying on a phone torch for visibility. We sought support, and while the team responded promptly, they were also unsure about the light switch's location. They offered to send maintenance assistance the next morning, but due to our tight schedule, we couldn't accommodate their visit. We informed them we would manage with the torch for the following evening. Overall, despite this drawback, our experience was positive, and we appreciate the team's willingness to assist. Addressing this lighting issue would significantly enhance the convenience and safety for future guests.
