Lovely Modern Home with Private Hot Tub and WiFi Near the Bay - Dog-Friendly

This lovely dog-friendly Manzanita vacation rental boasts a private hot tub and a wonderful location close to Nehalem Bay, with a comfortable style that will make everyone feel welcome!

Located about two blocks north of Nehalem Bay (bring your kayak or canoe and put in here!), this home is perched between Manzanita and Nehalem so you can experience the best of both towns! The ocean beaches are just a short drive (or healthy 1.5-mile walk) through Manzanita's beautiful residential and golf course areas, and Nehalem Bay State Park is in between. You can rent horses there and ride through unforgettable scenery where the forest meets the ocean, and a bit farther up the beach is Manzanita, where you'll find coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping.

This charming three-bedroom, two-bath home has enough space for up to eight guests. You're also welcome to bring up to two dogs with you, though please note that an additional fee will apply.

Inside, you will have a comfortable living space that is all on one level, so even guests who may have limited mobility or have trouble with stairs will feel very welcome. Walk up the path to reach the front door and a small patio that will be a great place to sit quietly and enjoy a morning cup of coffee while you gaze across to the nature preserve, which is soon to be a park. This area is also grazing land for a local herd of elk - you'll likely get a close-up view of them, along with other gentle wildlife including deer.

Step into the main part of the house to find a living area complete with soaring ceilings, cozy seating, and a 47' smart TV. The open floorplan, with and plenty of natural light, will be a great place to enjoy the company of your guests. High-speed wireless Internet, cable, streaming TV programming, and a wide variety of board games will keep everyone entertained. You'll notice attention to detail in every room, creating a gracious, welcoming ambiance throughout.

A gorgeous chef's kitchen has lots of extras including a Keurig, coffee grinder, electric kettle, 12-cup drip coffeemaker, hand mixer, mini food processor,, blender, and waffle iron so you can make extra-deluxe breakfasts. The kitchen has plenty of space for multiple cooks, and feels very upscale with beautiful countertops and cabinets, yet functional with a large farmhouse sink and marble-topped island.

Step through the sliding door to the curtained outdoor room with wicker furniture, propane grill, and six-person hot tub. This quiet area is just big enough for you and your friends to relax and enjoy the salt-scented breezes. Around the corner of the garage is a fenced area where the dogs can romp.

When it's time to head to bed, you will find a king-size bed in the master bedroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed, and the third bedroom has a twin-over-full bunk bed with an additional full-size trundle. This room would be fantastic for the kids. All in all, up to eight guests can comfortably sleep here.

Around this stretch of the Northern Coast, you will find no shortage of charming eateries, shops to explore, and natural beauty. Start with a trip to the beach, where you can stroll along the sand, fly kites, splash in the refreshingly chilly water, beachcomb, and watch spectacular sunsets over the ocean. In the very nearby Nehalem Bay, you can go boating, fishing, and crabbing. Nehalem Bay State Park offers fantastic hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails, a lovely beach to explore, and amazing views.

Manzanita and Nehalem are quiet, off-the-beaten-track towns. For a change of pace, you may want to visit some of the other coastal towns nearby. Popular Seaside, just 30 minutes north, has a huge variety of restaurants, shopping, and a charming downtown area with the Carousel Mall and the Seaside Aquarium. If you keep driving north you will reach historic Astoria. If you drive south, instead, you will pass through Wheeler, Arch Cape, and Rockaway Beach on your way to Tillamook, which is about 40 minutes away. Tillamook has more eateries and shops, plus two wonderful cheese factories and a fascinating air museum.

However you choose to spend your stay, this dog-friendly Northern Oregon Coast vacation rental has everything to ensure you have a wonderful trip!
