Offering a serene woodland setting with views of Moose Pond and the slopes of Shawnee Peak across the lake, this two-bedroom-plus-loft home in Bridgton provides a tranquil home base for your summer and winter adventures in Western Maine. When the weather is warm, you can cross the street to reach the lakeshore, take out the provided canoe or one of the two kayaks, and enjoy a quiet paddle across Moose Pond from the seasonal dock (typically available between mid-May and September). Come winter, you can cap gorgeous days of skiing and snowboarding with family tournaments around the foosball and pool tables in the loft, a night of board games and hot chocolate, or a cable or Netflix movie playing on TV with popcorn popping in the fully equipped kitchen.
The interior is cozy and comfortable, with large windows in the entryway that frame the lake and Shawnee Peak, soft leather furnishings and a flatscreen in the living room, and a washer/dryer and WiFi for your convenience. There's also a small deck with a gas grill, allowing you to prepare dinner with the twinkling lights of the illuminated ski trails visible across the water. At night, you'll find one bedroom with a queen-size bed on the first floor, another bedroom with a queen-size bed on the second floor, and two sets of twin bunk beds tucked into an alcove in the open loft. There's also a half-bath downstairs and a full bathroom with a tub/shower combination that's accessed from the loft.
