Great area

The studio condo is a good place to stay. The room had nice amenities. Close to all the main attractions and beach. A couple cons… real close to the main boulevard so we heard every loud exhaust and stereo from vehicles passing by. Also, the shower wouldn’t drain properly so we had to take quick showers, and the sink plug was locked down, no pull latch attached to drain, rendering it useless. We contacted services but no repair person came out. If those were in good order, our stay wouldn’t have been better.

NASCAR at Daytona Beach, FL

Bordered by the seaside communities of Ormond Beach to the north and Port Orange to the south, Daytona Beach is a vibrant coastal town known for its Daytona 500 NASCAR race, called the “Super Bowl of Stock Car Racing," which draws over 200,000 fans every February.

NASCAR hosts a number of notable events throughout the year, from the Daytona 500 to the Coke Zero 400 every July. Motorcycling pros will love the festivities at Daytona Bike Week, held every March, and Biketoberfest every October. Make your way over to the Daytona International Speedway to experience one of these sought-after events in person, or play it a little more budget-friendly and tour the facilities instead!

Things to do in Daytona Beach

Not just for die-hard NASCAR fans, though, Daytona Beach offers over 23 miles of clean beaches and family-oriented activities ranging from miniature golf to amusement parks, museums, and boat tours of the local waterways.

Take the family for a fun day of sightseeing at Florida’s tallest lighthouse, the Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse, visiting rehabilitated turtles and seabirds at the Marine Science Center, and riding the carousel at the Joyland Amusement Center on the Daytona Beach Boardwalk.

If you have an appetite for vibrant nightlife, rest assured that you’ve come to the right place. Get your dance floor groove on at clubs like Razzle’s and the 509 Lounge, or catch some laughs at Bonkerz Comedy Club and the Joke Factory. There are plenty of bars, pubs, and eclectic eateries serving up exotic cocktails and fresh seafood fare on any night of the week!

Day trips from Daytona Beach

Though you could easily spend your entire stay close to your beach house or condo, exploring activity-rich Daytona Beach, there’s also plenty to see and do outside the city limits. If you’re willing to make the 64-mile trip south, a tour at Cape Canaveral’s Kennedy Space Center is well worth the drive. You’ll see space shuttles on launch pads, the control center, and historic rockets that have been decommissioned.

You could also take a leisurely drive north or south to explore the many quaint beach towns that dot Florida’s central Atlantic coast. Orlando, known as The City Beautiful, is home to Disney World, Universal Studios, and many more world-famous theme parks. It's more than worth the 57-mile drive southwest, especially if you’ve brought children along. Spend hours riding the rides and getting autographs from your favorite characters at the Magic Kingdom!

History buffs and animal lovers alike will be eager for a visit to the eclectic city of St. Augustine. Watch the reptiles at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm or see the rescued exotic animal at the St. Augustine Wild Reserve. If you want to see a real 16th-century Spanish pirate ship, go tour the proud El Galeon Andalucia.

Whether you seek excitement or relaxation, Daytona Beach promises an unforgettable coastal getaway. Book your stay now and create cherished memories in this dynamic beachfront destination.
