This peaceful getaway offers breathtaking views of Mt. Baker and Hales Passage, and offers ready access to beach combing, water adventures, and modern comforts to make your stay unforgettable.
Getting There:
Lummi Island is accessible via the Whatcom Chief Ferry or via one’s private boat (moorage buoy available upon request). The ferry leaves from Gooseberry Point, a short drive northwest of Bellingham, WA.
The Ferry ride takes approximately 5 minutes, the cost for vehicle and driver is $15 round trip, credit card only (cash and Amex cards are not accepted).

*Note: There is no gas station on Lummi Island, so make sure to check/fill your tank before the Ferry if you plan to drive much on the island.
Please Note: The Ferry will have walk-on-only dates from April 25th to May 12th, 2025. Cars will not be permitted on the Ferry during this time frame, however, a shuttle will be available to take you from the Ferry to the doorstep of the home.
Your Private Experience:
Main Level: One bedroom, a full bathroom, and an open air, welcoming living space with a gas fireplace. Take advantage of the views while you dine at the table that seats up to 8, or the breakfast bar with 4 swivel stools.
Kitchen: For your convenience, there is a Keurig coffee maker and a water and ice dispenser.
Upstairs Private Bedroom: Spacious with a reading/viewing nook at the top of the stairs, primary bedroom, and a full ensuite bathroom.
Outdoor Bliss/Exteriors: An expansive terrace deck with hot tub and views of Mt. Baker, featuring a gas fire pit, BBQ grill, and patio dining set with umbrella.
Extra Amenities: Air conditioning is provided through split wall units, there is an EV Charger for eco-friendly travelers, and an RV pad with electric, sewer, and water hookups available for an additional daily fee.
Extra Beds: There are two twin rollaway beds that can be used as additional sleeping arrangements.
Safety Items: A fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide detectors, a flash light, and first-aid kit are all provided.

Beach Access - The beach is in view and is within a moments walk. It is semi-private and shared with other nearby neighbors, it is not open to the general public.
Beach Activities - There is a children’s bucket and shovel for collecting agates and shells.
Paddle boarding - Two paddle boards are available for guest use.
Fires on the Beach - You may use the designated fire pit and enjoy a magical day or evening by the shore.
Wildlife Watching - Keep an eye out for herons, seals, shore birds, orcas, even a rare gray whale, bald eagles, deer, and more – small binoculars provided!

4th of July Fireworks - Lummi Island goes all out for this Holiday, so please take note if you prefer a quieter setting or have sensitive dogs during this special celebration.
Art Shows/Studio Tours - The Island is home to many artists who showcase their art during the Art Studio Tour around Memorial Day.

Trader Joe’s & Costco in Bellingham - Great grocery options to stock up before the Ferry ride (there are limited store options on Lummi Island).
