The Wellfleet freshwater kettle ponds are great alternatives to a day at the ocean beaches. The Wellfleet town center area offers many great restaurants for a variety of tastes, too many to mention by name. Across from Mayo beach Wellfleet offers basketball, pickle ball and tennis courts, skate park, and volleyball net with a great playground for the kids which hold scheduled activities are available (Jun – Sept). The home sits just moments away from the bike trail, MA Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary with 5 miles of walking trails, Wellfleet Drive-In Theatre, pubs, mom 'n pop shops, art galleries, and the endless natural beauty of the outer cape draw loyal vacationers.
