Enjoy the open-concept floor plan with expansive views from every window, and a deck that offers the perfect setting for stargazing, storm watching or a cup of coffee while taking in stunning landscapes. The lodge features
modern amenities such as mini-split air-conditioning units, dimmable lighting, and motorized blinds. The entertainment room includes incredibly comfortable reclining seats with built-in tables, a stand-up arcade
game, a smart TV for streaming services, and a blu-ray/DVD player for nostalgic movie viewing. Indulge in the fully-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, ambient floor and under-counter lighting and
a large sliding window that opens to serve the patio/hot tub area. The loft also includes a mini-fridge, sink, coffee bar, and sleeper sofa. The upstairs “Presidential Suite” features a private deck directly facing
Mount Rushmore and Black Elk Peak.

Things to Know:
1. No fires or any kind are allowed except for the gas grill and propane Fire Table.
2. Access to the Retreat is on a maintained US Forest Service gravel road with limited pullovers. This public road is a one lane road with 2 way traffic. However, there is very little public use of this road as it has no outlet and public access ends at our property line.
3. The Black Hills National Forest allows hunting in season and target shooting anytime of year, anywhere in the National Forest. Guests may hear occasional gunfire off in the distance.
4. The BH National Forest leases land for Free Ranging Cattle. You may see and/or hear cattle.
5. Woodstove is NOT for Guest Use
