What We Love
Just a half block to the beach, this spacious one-bedroom, one-bath upstairs cottage, with space for four, has all the coastal charm you could ask for. Bright white open-beam ceilings throughout frame the open-concept kitchen and living room with a large Carrera marble center island with seating for guests. Original hardwood floors lead to a bedroom retreat with an ensuite bathroom awash in natural light from the open beam ceiling with skylight. A smart TV to view your favorite streaming services, air-conditioning, and a dedicated garage make this the perfect beach getaway.
An additional feature of this private cottage is the terrific upstairs deck that generously expands the living space with dining seating, a gas grill, and bench seating. Plenty of storage space is available for storing surfboards and hooks for hanging beach towels after a fun day at the beach!
Swim, surf, boogie board, body surf, skim-board, or sunbathe – the beach at 40th Street is perfect for all this and more! Jetties keep the surf manageable for most of the year and shape the waves to make the beach here more family-friendly.
The peninsula’s only grocery store and dozens of shops and eateries are all just a short walk away. The new Lido Marina Village boasts high-end shopping and dining within walking distance as well as electric boat, paddleboard, and kayak rentals.
Exploring the peninsula by bicycle or on foot is easy via the boardwalk. The Newport Pier is a short stroll from the property, with dozens of shops and local eateries.
