Canal Front with dock and crafted original home in Long Beach

Canal Front with dock, Charm abounds at this two-story handcrafted villa with dock! Built-in 1928, this historic Long Beach villa, one of the few originals on the Naples Canal, showcases original windows, floors, built-in niches, and handmade cabinetry that harken back to simpler times.

Spend your mornings walking around the island and watching the sunrise meet the ocean at Mother's Beach. Float the canal from the dock at your vacation home and move through the bay in a kayak or one of the provided paddleboards. You can also cruise the island on one of the bikes you'll find in the garage. A quick drive away, discover all of the city's vibrant attractions, including the Long Beach Museum of Art, the Aquarium of the Pacific, Rancho Los Alamitos Historic Ranch and Gardens, the Los Angeles World Cruise Center, numerous golf courses, and several delicious eateries. Walk or bike to restaurants along Los Alamitos Marina or beautiful Belmont Shores along the beach on the bike path. Visit quaint Seal Beach with its pier and antique shops. Indulge in an old-world gondola tour of the canals where gondoliers point out this historic villa. Enjoy a night out at the symphony or take in a theater performance at one of Long Beach's many renowned performing arts venues like Musical Theater West, the Terrace Theater, or the Long Beach Playhouse.

Walking through the home's front gate, you will instantly notice the sun-dappled patio, which is fully furnished and the perfect hub from which to watch passing boats. Step inside, where you will be greeted by an effortless open-concept layout, comfortable furnishings, and carefully curated art pieces. Memorable moments will be made on the soft living room seating and the bright galley-style kitchen. Traveling professionals can quickly get their projects done in a separate office/work-from-home space, and everyone is guaranteed a good night's rest as each bedroom has plush linens. Hints of vintage charm can be found in the home's tiled bathrooms and arched entrances. Perks include a private washer/dryer, beach gear, and internet access.

Back outside you will find a 20-foot dock as the sunset begins its impressive descent of orange, yellow, and pink hues and eavesdrop on the passing gondoliers sing to their passengers. As another day in paradise draws to a close, gather around the firepit to reminisce on all the memories you've made thus far.
